Life doesn't slow down very often. Between work, school, family, responsibilities, and everything else competing for our attention, it can be easy to rush through our time with God, forget Sunday's sermon by Wednesday, or lose sight of what He's been teaching us altogether.

Steadfast & Sustained was created to help make growing in your walk with God more intentional in every season, however your capacity may look.

It started with one simple need: a place to find peace and remember God's truth, knowing He is in control.

At the end of high school, our founder, Kailee, was walking through a season of uncertainty. She began writing down Bible verses, sermon notes, prayers, and reminders of God's promises so she could be reminded of His truth, and turn to it when she felt unsure or anxious about what was ahead.

As she spent more intentional time with God, those pages became more than notes. They became reminders of His faithfulness, and helped her grow in peace and trust that God had a plan even when she couldn't see the whole path ahead.

This experience sparked a simple question:

"What if I created a journal that could help other people grow closer to God, too?"

A few years later, that idea became Steadfast & Sustained.

Today, we create guided Christian journals and faith-based tools designed to help you engage with Scripture, remember what God is teaching you, reflect on His faithfulness, and build intentional rhythms with Him.

What Steadfast & Sustained Means

Steadfast means being faithful, committed, devoted, and firmly rooted. Our hope is that you become steadfast in your faith and in who God has called you to be, trusting His character even when your circumstances are uncertain.

Sustained means being nurtured, nourished, strengthened, and continually supported. Our prayer is that intentional time with God continually nourishes your faith, gives you peace in His presence, and reminds you that He is with you through every season.

Meet Kailee

Hi, I'm Kailee! I'm so glad you're here.

I started Steadfast & Sustained during my first semester of college, but the heart behind it began a few years earlier.

At the end of high school, I was walking through a season where I had so many questions and uncertainties about what came next. Journaling became one of the ways I intentionally sought God. I wrote down Scripture, sermon notes, prayers, and reminders of His promises so I could remember what was true when the future felt uncertain.

Over time, I experienced greater peace, contentment, and joy. My anxiety about needing to know every next step slowly became greater trust that God already held those steps in His hands, and that He was with me and working in me, even in the mundane moments and seasons of waiting.

One day while journaling, I had this thought:

"I would love to create a journal that helps other people develop greater peace and trust in God, like journaling has done for me."

I tucked the idea away, having no idea how to actually make it a reality, while pursuing some other dreams God had placed on my heart. A couple of years later, I remembered it while taking a business course and realized: I could actually turn this into a business. In January of 2021, I began developing the first journal layout.

After going from not wanting to go to college for the past couple of years, to God placing it on my heart and opening the door within the span of 5 days, I began my first semester in the fall of 2021. The Bible Notes Journal finished and launched, and I packaged and shipped the first orders, and many more throughout college, right out of my dorm room.

I started designing more products between classes, filming content for socials, and using just about every free moment I had to figure out how to grow this business.

What began as one journal shaped what I studied, too. I fell in love with learning about business and went on to major in Marketing with a minor in Ministry, two passions that continue to shape Steadfast & Sustained today.

And somehow, those journals that started in my dorm room have now made their way into the hands of more than 35,000 people around the world.

That will never stop being incredibly special to me.

I love creating beautiful products, but even more than that, I love creating products with purpose. My hope is that every journal becomes a place where you meet with God, remember His truth, celebrate answered prayers, process difficult seasons, and see how He has been faithful along the way.

A Little More About Me

When I'm not working on Steadfast & Sustained, you'll probably find me at a workout class, going on a long walk, spending time with friends and family, or hanging out with my two cats.

And there's usually coffee involved. My current favorite is a cold brew with vanilla and a splash of creamer.
